Fred Eaglesmith is a Canadian alternative country-folk singer-songwriter. His music explores themes of rural blue-collar life, heartbreak, and desperation, often singing from the perspective of characters dealing with the challenges that life throws their way. Since 1980, Fred has released 22 albums, winning countless awards along the way, including the 1997 Juno Award for Roots & Traditional Album of the Year.
