IVY GARDENS - (Niagara, ON): 10:00-11:00 pm
The highest energy, most honest songwriting, and the heaviest, pummeling riffs they could possibly deliver. Andrew Blackborow’s wall of guitar sludge is supported atop Joe Zandwyk’s battered and beaten-to-hell drums, as Sebastian Hogg’s throbbing bass synth and searing organ sounds swirl around them. Based in Niagara, Ontario, the group is utterly devoted to bringing its signature blend of punk, doom, grunge and pure unfiltered energy to unsuspecting audiences wherever they may be.
THE MATURE THEMES - (Kingston, ON) - 9:15-9:45 pm
If rock n’ roll is dead, nobody told The Mature Themes. This Kingston garage punk trio was raised on roots country, primitive rock n’ roll and proto-punk, and they wear their influences on their sleeves. No fluff or wasted moves, just simple and effective songs delivered with urgency and ferocity.
SITCOMS - (Kingston, ON) - 8:30-9:00 pm
Sitcoms is a duo hailing from Kingston, ON. They utilize a "semi-instrumental sound," an array of different influences, and meaningful lyrics to create a unique musical experience. The band recently reformed after a ten-year hiatus.
